Investable assets include liquid and near-liquid assets that can easily be converted to cash. These include cash in hand, funds in bank accounts, CDs, money market accounts, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, insurance contracts with cash value, cryptocurrencies, retirement accounts, trusts, etc. Properties and physical assets that cannot be easily liquidated are not considered investable assets.
